GENERAL PULLING AND TRACK RULES

• Contest open to rubber tire tractors, 2 wheel drive only maybe used 
• No Manufactures pulling tires - no component tires 
• Must be Farm use Aggregate tire and can be cut any style for Div. 3 and up
• Tractors to be of brand name and stock appearing 
• Tractor Must Have Fenders (Up to the Height of Back Tires for Youths) 
• Scale weigh-in includes driver with up to 1% over on reweigh after pulling
• Anything falling off tractor during pull is automatic disqualification 
• No riders on tractor at anytime 
• Pulling position determined by luck of the draw 
• One hook allowed each tractor driver per class on same tractor 
• Driver must remain seated at all times with at least one hand on the steering wheel while pulling 
• No part of tractor may touch boundary line or will be disqualified 
• No differential locks allowed 
• Anyone under 18 must have parent or guardian sign to register 
• Weights must be secured to tractor 
• Flag officials must be obeyed at all times or you will be disqualified 
• Maximum 2 min delay to hook before loss of pull 
• Designated Head Track Of ficial may allow a puller to drop last places for repairs on request 
• Any disputes will be settled by track officials as to rules and equipment 
• All other division and weight class rules by EMTPA must be followed 
• Track layout: provide a clearly marked dividing chalk line between pulling tracks when laid out. Each track shall have side boundaries and have a minimum of two feet 
• Every tractor must cross the scales before hooking to the sled and must reweigh again if it leaves the lineup area before it will be allowed to hook All tractor that are Pulled There is 10 MPH SPEED LIMET Maximizing Unless Stated in each Divisions for each class 

There is a $30.00 hook fee for first hook for nonmembers. An additional $20.00 after first hook for each event , $ 20.00 per hook for members ALL DECISIONS BY DESIGNATED TRACK OFFICIALS OR SLED OPERATOR ARE FINAL.  

These general rules revised and adopted by EMTPA February 2023 are to be agreed on and followed by anyone hooking to or using the EMTPA pulling sled and related equipment.
